About
Dennis Thomas is responsible for managing Duke’s portfolio in the areas of ophthalmology, internal medicine, and agriculture. He joined OTC after serving as Interim Director of the Office of Technology Transfer at North Carolina State University. His prior job responsibilities included technology evaluation, new company formation, intellectual property policy development and administration, development of university-corporation relationships, and, as a Duke faculty inventor, conducting research in transplantation and genetics. Dennis received his PhD in Developmental Biology from the University of Cincinnati.
