Together with Nvidia and Mark III Systems, we are excited to introduce the inaugural Duke AI Day (hosted at the Duke University Pratt School of Engineering), a one-of-a-kind workshop focusing on everything generative artificial intelligence, with a special focus on AI4Science. Our goal is to showcase the groundbreaking research happening in the Research Triangle (and beyond!) and bring together the community for a day celebrating collaboration and innovation. Attendees will be able to participate in hands-on tutorials and workshops from Nvidia engineers/collaborators and hear from faculty and students showcasing their research. Registration is free, and if your research develops or leverages AI, please submit a short <250 word abstract (for either completed studies or works-in-progress), which may be chosen for an oral or poster presentation — we have provided a template for the submission. Feel free to contact us with any questions!

We are accepting submissions that are related, but not limited to, conference topics such as machine learning and artificial intelligence in biology, chemistry and materials science. Theoretical machine learning works are especially encouraged, as well as work on large language models (LLMs) and generative modeling. Finally, abstracts on the topics of robotics and biomedical data science will also be strongly considered for acceptance.
