2024 Humans In Space Challenge: 2024 Humans In Space Challenge is the 3rd annual global space healthcare challenge that calls for startups and researchers tackling critical healthcare problems in Space and on Earth. Selected winners will be awarded with Equity Investment, Orbital Launch Funding, Participation in Accelerator Program, and Valuable Networking Opportunities.
This year’s Challenge offers two Track-Funding Models to facilitate in-orbit experiments and support your research or technology development. Startups with space innovation ideas can receive $50K of equity investment, while startups and researchers with orbital experiment plans may receive up to $250K of orbital launch investments. The value of this orbital launch funding may go beyond $250K, depending on the experiment type and duration. Moreover, startup awardees can choose between the two tracks and those selected for Growth Stage I this year will receive incentives when applying for Growth Stage II in future HIS Challenges.
