About
Richard Hunt is a managing partner with 77 West Consulting, providing marketing and strategy consulting services to start-ups and small companies, focusing on business-to-consumer businesses. He is a highly creative leader and team builder within both entrepreneurial environments and large organizations. Richard was the Venture Mentor-in-Residence at the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute from 2014 to 2017 and the Mentor-in-Residence at the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale from 2017 to 2018. He brings over 30 years of consumer marketing experience from roles in Publishing, Advertising, Entertainment, and Online Retailing, within large corporations as well as entrepreneurial enterprises. During his career, he has held positions with Time Warner, Sony, Universal Music, McCann Relationship Marketing and Kraft Foods. He was also Assistant Adjunct Professor at NYU, teaching Marketing. Richard holds an AB from Harvard College and an MBA from Yale University.
