About
Alex Mullins joined OTC in July 2019. She is responsible for managing inventions across the physical sciences. Before her transition to Assistant Director, Alex established the technology marketing group in Duke OTC. In this role she pitched technologies from across Duke to industry and facilitated over 100 resulting connections with Duke inventors. She has also co-managed the OTC Fellows program for Duke graduate students and manages the biological materials licensing. Alex received her PhD in Chemistry from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she interned at UNC’s Office for Technology Commercialization, and her BS in Chemistry from West Virginia University.
