About
Jee Jung joined OTC in 2020 and is currently the Assistant Director of Duke New Ventures. Prior to OTC, Jee was an Innovation Scout at Bayer’s Crop Science Division, identifying and evaluating early stage technologies from startups and universities. In addition, Jee served as the New Investments Analysis & Advancement Lead at Monsanto, leading a team to scout for early-stage innovations and gather competitive intelligence. Prior to Bayer and Monsanto, Jee was part of a startup, GrassRoots Biotechnology, from its very early stages and served in both business and scientific roles until the company was successfully acquired by a strategic corporate partner. Jee started his career as a researcher at NYU, University of Chicago, and Duke. Jee received his MBA and Master of Accounting degrees from the Poole College of Management at NC State University and BA from New York University.
