About
Gene Gsell is an experienced Sr. Vice President with a history of working in the computer software industry, CPG, and retail industries. As a sales professional, he is skilled in team development, new business creation and development, Product Management, Enterprise Software, Solution Selling, Software as a Service (SaaS), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Gene brings extensive mentoring experience including cross-silo leadership development for high potential employees at SAS and overseeing a mentoring program while mentoring students and graduates for the National Retail Federation. He is a Board Advisor at Hearful, an early-stage mining web startup, where he contributes to strategy, financing, sales, and mentoring the CEO/founder. He launched an intrapreneurial global business at SAS, which grew 15% annually for the company. Gene received his BA in economics from Ohio Wesleyan University.
