DANC Science & Technology Forum – ECU DoD Research Showcase

In person | November 29, 2022 | ECU Main Campus Student Center | Greenville, NC

You are invited to the Defense Alliance of North Carolina (DANC) November Science & Technology educational forum, which will include a showcase of East Carolina University (ECU) Department of Defense (DoD) researchers at the Main Campus Student Center on November 29, 2022, in Greenville, NC. There is no cost to attend the forum.

This forum will include researchers focused on the following projects:

  • Human Performance
  • Biomechanics
  • Biochemical/Biomedical
  • Spiritual/Mental Readiness
  • Prolonged Casualty Care
  • Neurocognition
  • Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI)

Projects that will be featured at the forum are funded by several defense sponsors including the DoD, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Office of Naval Research (ONR), U.S. Army, Civil-Military Innovation Institute, Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), and the Henry M. Jackson Foundation.


9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. – Coffee and Networking (hosted by ECU)
10:30 a.m. – 11:25 a.m. – Program & Speakers
11:25 a.m. – 11:50 a.m. – Lunch (hosted by DANC)
11:50 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Program & Speakers
4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Reception (hosted by NCBiotech)
