OTC Fellows are working every day to change the world through innovations. Not only do they work on their PhD theses to explore new scientific frontiers, they also move novel technologies from the bench out to the world through the OTC Fellows Program at Duke’s Office for Translation & Commercialization. Join us in celebrating the impact that they make!

Anandita Ananthakumar is a graduate student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Anandita studies skeletal muscle fibrosis by developing an in vitro model using a 3D microphysiological system and an integrated tissue-engineered blood vessel and skeletal muscle system to observe the role of inflammation in the lab of George Truskey.
