Workshop Description:
The session will provide insights based on deep domain expertise in commercial execution, external challenges to current thinking and approaches, and a proposed set of actions to build a sustainable commercial platform. We will discuss deploying strategic teams to develop and validate commercial potential before full-scale investment. The focus is on designing and optimizing field sales teams, streamlining the onboarding process, developing tools and marketing strategies, and establishing data capture and analysis best practices – all to advance the effectiveness of the sales process.
Speaker Bio:
Kevin J. Schimelfenig is the Founder and Managing Partner of the McGeever family office, which focuses on achieving the financial and philanthropic goals of the family. McGeever’s investment portfolio places an emphasis on Healthcare, but also includes Technology, Energy and Real Estate. To support the success of McGeever’s investments, Kevin founded SalesForce4Hire, a company that provides strategic commercialization solutions for medical device, diagnostics, biopharma and information technology companies and their investors. SalesForce4Hire has played an instrumental role in the successful implementation of customized sales solutions with Fortune 500 and startup companies. Kevin is also an active angel investor who enjoys working closely with CEOs and leadership teams on strategic partnering and commercialization activities. Kevin has an A.F.P in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Business Administration from Marywood University. He serves on several company boards and private family office boards. Additionally, his volunteer activities include NIH grant reviewer and WNCW Cameron’s Executive Advisory Board.
